Weekend Weather Outlook

081915After many consecutive days without any rain in the county, Mother Nature finally decided let some fall! Many areas received a downpour or two while some merely got sprinkles, but even the shade from the clouds was good enough for most.

The cool front will continue to push through Wednesday night, which will drop temperatures down to the low 80s for Thursday. We are also watching another cold front that could push through on Sunday, but should not yield temperatures as cool as the ones expected on Thursday.

With the rainy weather, it lessens the fire danger that Hunt County has been experiencing for the past few weeks. However, the rain we received does not affect the burn ban that was placed on Tuesday. Please continue to refrain from outdoor burning.

Stay tuned, and stay safe!
