Think-Pink is the national breast cancer campaign and aims to improve the lives of breast cancer patients and their families. Think-Pink has four clearly defined objectives:

  • Providing information
  • Raising awareness
  • Funding research

*   Funding care and follow-up care projects

Approximately 65-ladies, husbands, concerned men, kids, mothers, and babies gathered in-front-of the Carevide office yesterday to start October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, off with a march down Wesley Street to the Hunt County Courthouse. Speakers were in place at the courthouse to welcome the marchers. Berniece Reeves-Brown organized the event.  Berniece has been an integral part of Carevide for over thirty years.

The Think Pink marchers came prepared with signs to commemorate the annual event. Image by Jim Satterwhite.
