John Denver would have held the Golden K Kiwanis and the Aktion Club of Greenville in high esteem.  The clubs started early grilling pancakes and baking Jimmy Dean Sausage for the first wave of hungry Greenville early rising guest at Wesley United Methodist Church Saturday.

Both clubs grill pancakes and serve to help fund the ramp building activity, club functions, local charity and other civic endeavors within the city and county.  In addition to the pancake sales, a raffle takes place featuring gifts from some sponsors of Kiwanis activities.

Each meal ticket was $5.00 at the door for adults. Cracker Barrel and International House of Pancakes donated the pancake makings.  The club meets every Tuesday at the Kavanaugh United Methodist Church fellowship hall.  The meeting last an hour and starts at 10 AM sharp.
