The temperature at Majors Field soared past 100 degrees for the second day in a row at 1:33 PM this afternoon.  A hot southwest wind made the tarmac feel like a blast furnace.

A side bet was going on between the personnel at the airport.  Mark McFarland guessed 1:30 PM, James guessed 2 PM and the airport manager, Ty Helton came in at  2:05 PM.  Mark won a 5 minute break and an ice cold Dr. Pepper.
