Hunt County Shared Ministries has served the county for over thirty years.  FISH brings hope to victims of neglect, abuse, those with serious illness, loss of job and other crisis situations.  They also offer a food pantry at their King Street location.  Other services include assistance with utility bills, rent and mortgage as well as medical treatment and medicines.

The Herald Banner newspaper is sponsoring a food drive to help refill the pantry and coffers of the organization.  The Daybreak Rotary Club presented a check in the amount of $250 to Herald Banner employees Jenni Collier and Cheri Baker Thursday morning.
