Gregg Simms and the staff at Economic Development state “$620 million comes to Greenville, Hunt County’s Retail Hub”. These sales draw from 300,000 consumers living in the retail trade area every day. Sixty per cent of retail sales come from outside Greenville’s 5-mile retail zone.
Gregg went on to state that “Greenville and Hunt County is a growing market”. Development of the 66-acre Town Center now anchored by Splash Kingdom will see the Rib crib and Panda Express. Pads are still available at Kari Beth Crossing. El Fenix and Snuffers are open. The Crossroads Mall is refurbished. National brand retail stores are located in the Greenville Promenade.
Interstate 30, US 69, US 380 and TX 66 see over 90,000 vehicles each day. It is a booming market. Over 213,000 square feet of national retail space was added during the past two years.
