Several years ago one wise sage observed that Sunday mornings were the most segregated gatherings in America. He was speaking of church services.
That was not the case Sunday afternoon at the Texan Theater. Pastor Deborah Leone and young Dylan McNeil started the praise festival off with a reading from Acts. The Corner Stone Praise Band, the Greater Rose of Sharon Praise Choir and Pecan Grove Singers got the crowd singing and praising their Lord and Savior.
The Holloman Sisters and Clark Street Christian Church were spirit led during the celebration. Guy Hill sang one of his original gospel songs. Band members of the Sammy Kershaw Show stood backstage and enjoyed the celebration.
