There have been many complaints of excessive noise coming from the pavilions at Graham Park. In many instances, competing sound systems have been set up and have succeeded in causing discomfort to those enjoying the park.
Brett Quarels, Parks and Recreation Director, addressed the issue. The Parks and Recreation Department now has a permission form to fill out if the party renting the pavilion plans to use a sound or public address system.
The discussion soon turned to high end stereo in personal automobiles. The department will address this situation as it arises but right now if the sound is too loud then the police department will investigate and make a determination.
