Mosquitoes Test Positive for West Nile

The City of Greenville, Texas has trapped mosquitos in the Turtle Creek area that have tested positive for the West Nile Virus.  Kathy Lucas, spokesperson for the city said, “spraying will begin Wednesday evening at 7 PM”. Spraying will take several hours. Citizens should remain indoors during this time.  Do not ride in the spray from the truck.

Spraying will begin on Oneal Street and the eastern boundary will be Wright Park and the Turtle Creek addition.  The southern boundary will be Wesley Street and Interstate 30 while the western boundary will be Wesley Street and Joe Ramsey.

If you must be outside after dark it is recommended that you use a repellent containing DEET. Follow directions on the repellent container.
