Each year millions of Americans face the reality of living with a mental illness. During May, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and the rest of the country are raising awareness of mental health. Each year we fight stigma, provide support, educate the public and advocate for policies that support people with mental illness and their families.
NAMI Hunt County is a newly formed Affiliate in Texas. NAMI Hunt County offers a variety of education classes and support groups, participates in area mental health events, and advocates for people with mental illness and their families. We welcome people living with mental illness, their family members and friends, and mental health professionals to get involved with NAMI Hunt County. Our service area includes Hunt County and surrounding communities.
