The Landing is the creation of R. W. Holleman and Steve Lawson. The top floor of the Landmark on Lee Street is now known as The Landing, a modern virtual office, conference room and a recreation and refreshment area. A startup business can have a virtual office in historic downtown Greenville at the Landmark on Lee Street.
The Landing offers training and mentoring. Holleman said, “success comes from forging and learning from successful human connections”. Lawson went on to say, “our membership is composed of individuals at every stage of success in the Greenville business community”. The Landing offers modern work space featuring calibrated lighting, ergonomic desk, chairs, workstations, high speed WiFi and offices. A virtual office rent starts at just $39/month. Virtual office lessees are encouraged to use the shared services that The Landing affords.
The Landmark on Lee Street was built in 1910 as a post office. The brickwork still shows the arches where mail wagons backed into the building after the trains arrived from Dallas, Shreveport and Denison. Audie Murphy enlisted in the US Army during the early days of 1942 in this very building after the Pacific War began in Hawaii on December 7, 1941.
