The GEUS loading dock was a scene of organized bedlam as volunteers from churches, business, youth groups and service organizations carried boxes along the assembly tables to be filled with non perishable food for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.
Lori Roberts with FISH says that needy families that have signed up have been told where to pick up their food basket. There will be five distribution stations…Greenville, Wolfe City, Commerce, Quinlan and Caddo Mills.
One more night of assembly is scheduled at the GEUS building at 2810 Wesley Street between 5:30 and 7:30 PM. Everybody is welcome to participate. Food has been donated by Brookshire’s, Walmart and the North Texas Food Bank for the project.
