The only thing missing at the 2018 Life’s a Beach Annual Auction at Greenville Chamber of Commerce event in the Emerald Ballroom Saturday night was a dump truck load of white sand from Key West, Florida. Flip flops, Parrothead regalia, and Aloha Shirts were in abundance. Celebrities included Dan Flynn, Friendlee and Byron Taylor and a host of other assorted gadabouts.
It was all in fun. The auction brought donations of exotic items with proceeds to be applied to worthy causes in and around Greenville and Hunt County. The primary recipient will be announced at the Chambers Quarterly Membership Luncheon.
Many partners contributed. Among them was the Big Kahuna, Innovation First International. IFI put Greenville on the map with the Hex Bug and VEX World. Red-E-Air and Greenville Chrysler and Greenville Hyundai amd Nissan were the Anchors Aweigh Partners followed by Ukuleles and Aloha Partners. Catering was by Cup and Saucer, wine by Landon and beverages courtesy of Ben E. Keith Company in Commerce.
The Chamber has fun partnering with the business community by providing opportunities for prosperity.
