On March 8, the LOISD Education Foundation surprised the high school, middle school, and the elementary campuses with a lot of noise… and a lot of grant money! We awarded 13 educational grants totaling $31,838.08 in our Founding Year! Many generous donors all around Hunt County made this wonderful day possible and we are extremely grateful!

Several grants were awarded on behalf of our Diamond and Gold Level Sponsors for their tremendous generosity: Eddie Payne & Friend’s Shrimp Boil Event, Kent’s Metal Craft, and Brian and Quyen Jones.
A few of the educational grants awarded included funding for an outdoor learning center, Apple iPads in the classroom, a college and career resource room, robotics programs at all three campuses, and much, much more!
