Fulton Winton Teel Jr, 86, of Cooper passed away on Thursday October 30, 2015 at his residence.
The son of Fulton Winton Teel Sr. and Lilla Estell Brookshire, born December 2, 1928 in Scatter Branch Community outside of Commerce,
He was a retired farmer and a United States Army veteran of the Korean War.
Jr. married Betty Joann Daughtery on November 24, 1976 in Cooper.
He is survived by his wife Betty, his children: Carolyn Teel-Reiber and husband Gary of Commerce, Laura Oats Slough and husband Steve of Commerce, Betty Teel-Malone and husband Billy of Wolfe City, Donna Teel-Nicholson and husband Chip of Sulphur Springs, Rita Teel-Nerren and husband Danny of Flower Mound, Mark Johnson of Los Angeles CA. and Morgan Wood Milligan of Miller Grove, his grandchildren: Gary Fulton Reiber of Commerce, Megan Reiber Donaldson and husband Zac of Rock- port, Brandy Malone Webb and husband Nick of Wolfe City, Austin Nerren and wife Margo of Minot, ND. Kaitlyn Nerren of Flower Mound, Stephanie Slough of Commerce, Aubrey and Yuri Milligan of Miller Grove, Shannon Oats Rusk of Grand Prairie, Haley Oats of Missouri and Brian Oats of Alabama, his great-grandchildren: Tori and Macy Reiber of Commerce, Kaden Malone, Trey Jones and Jesse Webb of Wolfe City, Hailey Webb of Mesquite, Lyla Donaldson of Rockport, Midrean Gadlin, Laurann, Toni, and Stevie Burrell all of Commerce Fulton is also survived by his brother James Edward Teel and wife Oleta of Garland, his nieces: Sandy Teel Langbein and husband Carl of Midlothian, Dot Priddy and husband Troy of Midlothian.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Jeff Oats, his sister, Betty Ruth Teel Rhea, his brother-in-law Earl Rhea and his nephew, Timothy Rhea.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home in Commerce
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Gary Reiber, Billy Malone, Chip Nicholson, Danny Nerren, Gary Fulton Reiber and Nick Webb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brandy Malone Webb, Stephanie Slough, Megan Reiber Donaldson, Austin Nerren, Kaitlyn Nerren, Kaden Malone and Midrean Gadlin.
