Cooler days brings out spinach, lettuce, broccoli, peppers and pumpkins to the Greenville Farmers Market. Friends of the Farmers Market say that the Saturday morning market will be open through Christmas unless weather is so bad that people cannot make it into town.
Gwendolyn’s Garden offered sweet and dill pickles along with basil infused wine vinegar. Allen Weekley displayed framed photographs of old town Greenville. Several other farmers offered just picked fall produce.
A nice cup of coffee and a fried pie from “Ain’t Just Pies” hit the spot after many patrons finished shopping.
