Dorothy Christine McClain Foote, 90, of Greenville, died Friday, November 6, 2015 at Harrison House in Greenville. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, November 9, 2015 in Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Memoryland Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Foote was born in Greenville, Texas on August 21, 1925. She was the daughter of J. E. and Pearl McClain. She married Carl Foote on September 7, 1947 in Greenville.
Known to many of her friends as “Dot”, she owned the Farmers Insurance Agency in Greenville for many years and was a lifelong member of Grace Presbyterian Church. She was a talented artist and an avid bridge player, but treasured time with family and friends more than anything.
Survivors include her daughters, Carla Paschal and husband Lane of Coppell, Texas and Cecelia Robinson and husband, Norman of Greenville; grandchildren, Stan Ingram, Meredith Webb, Nick Paschal, Nichole Paschal, Daniel Robinson, Philip Robinson and Rebecca Bruce; and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Foote; her parents; sister, Ida Lee Tapp; and brother, Jimmy McClain.
