Christmas Eve Services in Hunt County

Most churches in Hunt County will have a Christmas Eve Service Sunday night.  Hunt County News tried to contact most but many did not return calls.  We urge our readers to go on-line and check the Greenville Herald Banner, Commerce Journal and the Quinlan-Tawakoni News for the latest scheduled services.

Redeemer Lutheran will have their traditional candle light service on Sunday, December 24th at 6:30 pm.  Kavanaugh United Methodist Church will hold their candle light service then as well.

United Presbyterian Church is bringing back the long-time honored tradition of the Christmas Eve midnight service, featuring music selections from Handel’s Messiah, by a community choir. Anyone interested in singing in the choir should contact church office 903-455-1370. Choir rehearsal begins at 9:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve. With music Director -Dominick Stephenson.

The annual live Nativity program, presented by Ridgecrest Baptist Church, will be conducted in downtown Greenville Saturday evening at the north side of the courthouse from six to eight pm.

The Holy Mass of the Sacrifice will be conducted at midnight on Christmas Eve in Greenville.  Hunt County News wishes all readers the most peaceful and joyous Christmas.
