This will be the first meeting of County Commissioners since the popular Judge John Horn passed last week. Commissioner Jim Latham will act as the presiding judge for the meeting. Most of the meeting will be to finalize plans and tracts known as Union Valley Estates for Union Valley Partners Ltd. Represented by Marshall Merritt, owner of the real property. The court will also accept bids received from the sale of estates forfeited for failure to pay taxes.
The Greenville City Council will meet for a work session at five P.M. to discuss the City Budget. The Mayor will read a proclamation proclaiming the Day as Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance to honor innocent victims that perished on this day seventeen years ago on September 11, 2001.
