The Greenville Antique Car Club (GACC) will host a swap meet at the fairgrounds. The GACC is a chapter of the Northeast Texas Antique Automobile Car Club of America (NTRACCA).
The Greenville Swap Meet was first hosted at the fairground in 2000. A small number of vendors has grown to over 350 vendors since the inception eighteen years ago. The Greenville Swap meet always takes place during the first weekend of April. April 5-7 promises to be a bonanza for bargain seekers looking for antique automobile parts.
The meet is free for all observers, shoppers and collectors. Fairground Parking is $3.00 per day. Collectors come from Texas and neighboring states hoping to find a specialized part for their 1958 Plymouth Fury or other muscle cars. The gates will open at 10 AM Thursday and close at 7 PM. Friday and Saturday will see twelve hours of swapping parts, lies and stories. The car show will be held Saturday. Registration begins at 9 AM and ends at noon. The entry fee is $20.00. Judging begins at 1 PM and prizes will be announced at 2 PM.
