Amanda Susan Turbeville, 29, of Garland went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 2, 2017, in Garland. Funeral services celebrating Amanda’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas with Pastor Duane Crane officiating. Interment immediately following at Weaver Cemetery in Terrell. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Amanda was born May 9, 1988, in Dallas, Texas. She is the daughter of James Robert Turbeville and Laura Meek Turbeville. She was raised and educated in Garland where she graduated from South Garland High School class of 2006. She had a passion for caring for children and studied and worked in Early Childhood Education. She had several certifications in this field and was continuing to earn more. She was preceded in death by her Papa, Gene Meek; Gamma, Darlene Turbeville and many other loved ones and friends. Amanda always wanted to be a “Mom” and was blessed with three beautiful babies on December 8, 2013. She was a single Mom whose life revolved around her children and did all she could to raise her children.
She is loved and will be missed by her parents James Robert and Laura Turbeville of Garland; granny Barbara Meek of Garland; sister Christy Turbeville of Dallas and Children Jessie, Cheyenne and Christopher; uncle Keith Turbeville of West Tawakoni; Great-aunts Patsy Mercer of Wills Point, Nannie Metcalf of Sunnyvale; Great-uncles John Wayne Metcalf of Dallas, Herbert Metcalf of Sunnyvale and numerous other family and friends.
