TYLER, Texas, Oct. 10, 2018 – Brookshire Grocery Co. (BGC) recognized Joey Aiken, Store Director at the Brookshire’s store located at 6410 Wesley St. in Greenville, as an honoree in the BGC Store Director of the Year program during a company banquet Monday. Aiken was one of two Store Directors selected from the company’s 108 Brookshire’s stores.
Aiken has served as Store Director at Brookshire’s in Greenville since 2001. With more than 30 years of experience with Brookshire Grocery Co., Aiken began his career as a courtesy clerk and worked his way up to assistant manager at several Brookshire’s stores in East Texas. Since his promotion in 1994, he has also served as Store Director at Brookshire’s stores in Tyler and Eastland, Texas.
BGC Store Director of the Year honorees were selected for their service, leadership skills, and community involvement. Aiken is known for his strong community support, volunteering for local organizations including Hunt County Shared Ministries (FISH) and Hunt County Ducks Unlimited. Aiken is also a member of the Greenville Golden Kiwanis.
