The Miss Bois d’Arc Scholarship pageant kicked off with a sparkle Saturday evening at the Cross Roads Cowboy Church. A total of 6 overall queens in age groups from 4-months to nineteen years vied for scholarships in the 30th Annual Bois d’Arc Bash.
In addition, as a Miss Bois d’Arc overall winner, the Miss and Teen queens earned a sponsorship to Continue on the Miss Hunt County and Miss Texas Pageants. The younger queens earned sponsorship to continue on in the Miss Hunt County Lone Star Princess program. These young ladies will make their first appearance next Saturday in the Bois d’Arc Bash Parade. The parade kicks off a two day festival of music, food and fun. The “Bash” brought over 12,000 visitors to the Commerce Square last year. The overall winners are listed below:

Emma Jay, Miss Bois d’Arc, currently a student at Texas A&M- Commerce
The pageant announcer and a local Hunt County star was Briana Alexander, Miss Hunt County 2014. Briana spent most of the day inspiring pageant contestants, families and friends. Briana will crown a new Miss Hunt County on Saturday, December 12th at the Commerce High School. Perhaps it will be one of the Bois d’Arc Queens!
