Susan Spradling has filed for the Republican Party nomination for the office of Hunt County District Clerk
in the March primary election.
A long-time resident of Hunt County, Spradling has worked for 18 years in District Clerk’s office. She
started with the office in 1999 as a deputy clerk and has been Chief Deputy nine years under the
direction of current Hunt County District Clerk Stacey Landrum.
During her tenure with the clerk’s office, Spradling has managed all areas of operation within the office
including jury process, child support, and civil and family records. She has coordinated training and
implementation of the state mandated Civil E-file system and will be managing the Felony E-file system
mandated to begin in next year.
Spradling is married to life-long Hunt County resident Tom Spradling, who is retired after a career
serving in the fire department with L-3 Technologies and the Commerce Fire Department. They have
three children and six grandchildren.
“If elected, I will be committed to continue providing professional and courteous customer service to
the citizens of Hunt County,” Spradling said. “I am the most experienced and most qualified to ensure
the efficiency of day-to- day operations of our court system.”
“It would be an honor and a privilege to serve as your Hunt County District Clerk.”
